FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN MARRACUENE’S SCHOOLS

First Capital Bank Mozambique donated copies of a book on financial education, produced by the bank, to three primary schools in the Marracuene district. The book tells the story of Khensane, the boy who opened his first bank account at the age of five and started saving from that early age.

This initiative, in partnership with the NGO Associação Pronwana, aimed to help promote financial knowledge, contributing to a better financially aware and prosperous future for young people.

The schools that benefited were:

12th October Primary School

Mbalane primary School

Gimo Ocossa Primary School

We are grateful to Alfredo Balate for coordinating the initiative and we are excited to see the positive impact that the book distribution initiative ‘My first bank account’ will have on the students’ lives.
